Happy Birthday Carina

Happy Birthday to my wonderful little sister Carina who turns 19 today! You're a wonderful person and I'm so proud to call you my sister. I enjoy spending time with you and taking silly pictures and doing strange things. You always push me to be a little bit more fun and do random things that I wouldn't do. I think you're turning into an amazing person and it has been so fun to watch you mature so far. You are going to do great things at Creighton through the activities you're involved in and you'll do great things in the world after you graduate (or maybe before). I've also really enjoyed chatting with you lately on skype and things. Anyway you rock! Sorry I was in Honduras on your birthday so I couldn't call you!

Happy Birthday Dad!

Today is my dad's 47th birthday! I didn't really have any good pics on my computer of the 2 of us so that's why I did a wide variety of pictures.  He usually brings his strange humor into many situations, is always willing to talk with me, and of course always willing to show me how to do things or explain how things work. He's one of the smartest people I know about such a variety of topics!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Happy Birthday to my wonderful mom today as she celebrates her 47th birthday today! She is an amazing women and I'm so glad to call her my mom. She is always there for me when I need someone to talk to and is always willing to take me out to eat when she's in Des Moines. I know that she would do anything for any of us kids or really anyone in general.

Weekend Rewind

Friday:

• Went to classes and worked
• After work hung out in my room with Nikki, Nikki, Erin and then a little later Marc and Tom
• We then went downstairs and watched some Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta and then Made of Honor
• Made of Honor is not as good of a movie as I remembered, but it was still ok

Saturday:

• Nikki L and I went to Panera around 10:30 and stayed until 5- we were both very productive in doing our homework so that was really good
• Around 6 pm a bunch of us went downtown to celebrate Nikki M's birthday (which was Sunday)
• We ate a Legend's and it was really good. I had a chicken quesadilla which was one of the best quesadillas I've had.

• Then Nikki L and I went to Hy-Vee to pick up food for Sunday night dinner
• Then we met back up with people at Emily, Michelle, and Carley's apartment before we went to some campus bars for the rest of the evening

Sunday:

• Woke up and went to church. It was a really good message about facing your fears and how God is always with you and will do the unexpected if you allow him to. 
• Then I went back home and took a nap
• Nikki and I made dinner which was pizza and cupcakes
• I also did a little homework (but wasn't as productive as I should have been)
• Went to chapter
• Had Bible Study and talked about courage, which was really good
